It’s around this time that we are all thinking of making changes for our health. The top 3 New year resolutions in 2022 are to exercise more, eat healthier and lose weight. [1] While everyone is hitting the gym this year, let’s step back. Take a look at how you can work on your health by changing the way you think, eat and move so you can have that yo-yo effect be a thing of the past.
How you Think
Let’s be honest. Losing weight, making healthy choices, changing habits… it’s all about the way you think! Have you paid much attention to the reason WHY you make the choices you do? Or, even what keeps you from achieving your health goals? We all have “paths of thinking” ingrained in our thinking patterns. Did you know you can change the way you think through practice?
We at FCM Coaching utilize a number of strategies that bring awareness to your thinking. We help you with challenges, build healthy habits and even set healthy boundaries (without guilt!). How you Move

Now maybe you’ve done the whole gym thing, being active and decided maybe you’ve just outgrown that part of your life. Well my friend, I’m here to tell you that “you are never too old!”.
While you may never be too old to exercise or just be physically active, we can adjust a little how you think about moving at the different ages of your life and at what level you are at. Here at FCM Coaching, we approach your movement of your body through a methodical step that gets you comfortable moving your body again. If you are already active, then we check in with your basics and are able to continue to build the areas you are working on; and maybe address a part of your exercise routine you haven’t included yet.
